My most relevant credits as Curator and Producer include BARRO a sculpture group exhibition highlighting the work of Latin American Contemporary Artists, SWIM CLUB a pop up monthly art event mixing fashion and arts and THE DREAM PLAYGROUND a shortfilms, shortplays and music event.
My most relevent credits as an artists include BUILDING UP YERMA showcased in Lima and New New York and supported by the Peruvian Council in New York , CUATROJOS screened in NYC at El Barrio Latino Children´s Film Festival, and ENLAZADAS a site specific multimedia performance premiered in Lima.
I have established two production companies: Palpita Teatro and Teatro Pop Up. Within these companies, I take on dual roles as Artistic Director and Creative producer. Currently, I am a proud member of the production crew for Gibney Dance Company in NYC.
As an artist, my exploration focuses on storytelling and the sensory estimulation through sound and color. The performing arts offer a live, immersive experience that is always surprising and dynamic. Performers rely on techniques and expertise as well as an emotional and intellectual engagement to connect with the audience, creating a shared instant. Photography and cinenatic languagues, though “static”, is imbued with an emotional spirit. My interest lies in the visual details, such as composition, color and the ability to manipulate perspectives, which provide new narratives or viewpoints.
As a producer, my goal is to foster a deep interaction between art and the public, using common and unexpected spaces to create moments of entertainment, inspiration, and connection for the audience.

Concept Development:
To address a gap in children's theater options in Lima, 2018, we explored over 10 new children's theater scripts. I sought a story that dared to tackle important topics rarely seen on local stages – physical disabilities, depression, and empowering girls through superhero narratives. In essence, I wanted a piece that resonated with the realities and interests of contemporary Lima's children.

DOCUMENTARY FILM
BUILDING UP YERMA is a documentary film that showcases the creative process of actor Kate Davis to bring to life playwright Federico García Lorca's most regarded character: “Yerma”.
It was screened in New York City and Lima and streamed through Joinnus platform available worldwide. The screening in New York was a multimedia event with the support of the Peruvian Consulate in New York.
My roles for this project were: Director, Scriptwriter and Spanish/English Text Adapter, Executive Producer, and Creative Producer.
Conceptual Framework:
Through a series of interviews, a black box studio performance, and rehearsal documentation, audiences will witness the actress's emotional journey and thought process as she embodies the character. The documentary film's storyline follows the development of the play "Yerma" scene by scene, allowing viewers to see both the actor's research process and the play's progression.
CUATROJOS
NOV 2020 - DEC 2022
WEB SERIES
CUATROJOS is a web series of the children's book by Gloria Portugal. The series celebrates both a love for literature and self-acceptance.
The series was a co-production between Palpita Teatro and the Peruvian British Cultural Association. It was also part of the X Edition El Barrio Latino Children’s Film Festival in New York supported by the Hispanic Federation.
My roles in this project were: Co Director, Creative Producer, Art Director and Screenplay writer
Conceptual Framework
My research in this web series merges the vibrant and ludic world of clowning with the narrative structure and visual language of cinema.
The camerawork itself fuels the comedic tone, using techniques like whip pans, snap zooms, Dutch angles, cutaways, and more. The theatrical infusion incorporates the narrator's perspective and playful interaction between the actors and the camera, creating fantastical imagery.
Conceptual Framework
Beyond performance and narrative, my commitment to creating a visually innovative and culturally rich experience is also seen in the costume design. I draw inspiration from the re-imagination of iconic figures of Peruvian folklore, like the Ekeko, the Torito de Pucará, the Shaman.
ENLAZADAS
NOV-DEC ‘19
SITE-SPECIFIC THEATRE
ENLAZADAS was an atypical theater production for Lima (Perú) in 2019. Staged in a cultural center designed to resemble a house, it presented a unique site-specific experience. The play itself was an anthology, weaving together three short stories that explored the complexities of sibling relationships.
The project was initiated as a response to the lack of platforms to showcase short plays and short stories in Lima.
Conceptual Framework:
This production embraced the use video mapping technology. This created a cinematic aesthetic, featuring film-noir elements like black framing, intense color saturation, and even textured overlays applied directly to the actors.
Sound and Light Design was carefully tailored by visual artist Mario Sergio.
